Belly ballot the distributor of Baby-care, Mother-care, Kid-Teen, Maternity and accessories has unveiled Uganda’s first organic and eco-friendly diapers.
Speaking at the launch of the products dubed “[Pure Born”, Dr Sabrina Bakeera Kitaka a pediatrician and head of the Department of Pediatrics and Child Health, Makerere University hailed the products for being truly organic product and “in sync with our environment.”
“It is not just a fad to push for organic products, it is actually an important issue we need to take seriously.” she said.
The mother of five added “The #PureBorn theme is so special: Live clean, Give back, and Smile often. Living clean means taking care of your body.”
Now available across the Middle East and Europe, Hannah Curran, the Founder of PureBorn said, ‘I created PureBorn because there was a clear gap in the market for organic, cost-effective nappies and wipes.”
